| Job Description |
Product Engineer (Valves) ~ Houston, TX
- Responsibilities include engineering and development efforts for multiple valve lines.
- Create and document designs to industry requirements.
- Insure the successful inspection, pilot, product launch, and tracking of new product designs and product improvements.
- Be the Lead Engineer at the Division level to facilitate roll out of standard procedures across manufacturing locations.
- Define, coordinate, and insure execution of engineering projects across multiple design locations.
- Work as a team member with Sales, Supply Chain Managers, and Operations to accomplish common goals and commitments for completion of product development projects.
- Perform review of changes to industry codes and implement the subsequent update required to existing products.

| Job Requirements |
- Candidate MUST have experience with Butterfly AND/OR Ball Valves.
- Knowledge of API 6D, 608, 598, 6A, ASME B16.34, ASME B16.5, ASME B&PC, ISO 10497, PED, SIL specifications is required.
- Individual should posses a practical knowledge of scheduling and resource allocation.
- A background of valve design is required with 3-5 years of experience.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MathCad, Inventor, ANSYS, and CF Design is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple objectives and tasks is required.
