Senior Production Engineer
Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities of the Senior Production Engineer:
- Lead problem determination and resolution efforts of highly complex production support issues
- Ensure proper escalation procedures are executed
- Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve highly complex operations issues and support multiple systems including second / third-level production support
- Ensure smooth daily operations of business applications and contribute to meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
- Suggest improvements for tasks and processes and suggest paths and validations to explore when researching website and/or application issues and escalating urgent issues
- Work closely with business users in gathering requirements and implementing system changes to fulfill business needs
- Follow-up with users to discuss priorities of pending assignments
- Develop enhancements to existing systems, programs, and reports involving integration of multiple systems
- Write highly complex queries to extract data from multiple systems, applications, and schemas
- Be well versed in making recommendations to development to enhance or modify existing systems, programs, and reports
- Write, test, and document functionalities and business processes of software applications / reports by using clear, meaningful, and readable naming conventions and other standards and techniques for ease of maintenance
- Perform on-call support in rotation with the production support team, create incident documentation / recovery updates, follow-up with the affected business unit head, and ensure execution of the escalation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

The successful Senior-level Production Engineer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):
- A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Advanced Application troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of the related HealthCare Claims domain, Commuter Reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, Wellness, Retiree Reimbursement, Travel and Expense Reimbursement, and Document Processing Systems
- Implement generation of ACH, check, debit card transaction, and payroll related data and integrate with outside organizations like banks, vendors, and clients using FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, XML, SOAP, and Web Services
- Must be highly proficient in Oracle SQL and PL-SQL
- At least 5 years of experience with the Oracle Relational Database
- Expert skills in PL/SQL to be able to read existing complex code to pinpoint problems and develop file handling programs and report batch programs in a highly efficient way
- Proficiency in tools like Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Forms, SQL Plus, and Jasper reports
- At least 2 years in Shell scripting, Automate7, and automized tools
- Proficiency with version control systems like SVN is essential
