SharePoint Admin Lead Qualifications
- 8+ years experience building and managing medium to large Windows / Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 server farms with high availability
- 5+ years experience building and managing SharePoint DR infrastructure
- Experience building and maintaining Project Server 2010
- A solid understanding of core Active Directory principles and technology
- 4-6 years of general MS SharePoint development and administrative experience
- Experience configuring a SharePoint-based extranet platform
- Experience with VMWare and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies
- Experience with Windows 2008 / Windows 2003 Server environments, IIS administration, XML, InfoPath, MOSS Business Data Catalog and BCS configuration, Excel Services, Search Service Applications


- Experience configuring a SharePoint -based extranet platform
- In depth knowledge of security principals
- Microsoft SQL Server Database, Analysis, Integration and Reporting
- Experience migrating from 2007 to 2010
- Experience with Change Management / Change Control Boards
- Skilled using PowerShell to administrate SharePoint
- Exposure to SharePoint 2013


Job Requirements

SharePoint Admin Lead Responsibilities
- Work with networking, storage, virtualization and other infrastructure teams to setup and maintain business critical on premise and BPOS SharePoint farms
- Configuring and supporting the day-to-day system management tasks such as trouble-shooting, backup management and performance tuning
- Maintains system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements.
- Installation and maintenance of Plug-ins, Feature, Web parts, Templates and custom software
- Work with developers to deploy custom applications and solutions to production and pre-production environments
- Provides 24x7 on-call support for SharePoint in rotation with other team members
- Provide third level user assistance
- Identify hardware and software platform issues and work with System Admins to implement proper patches and updates


- Performance tuning and recommend performance improvements
- Creating and managing a backup plan for critical SharePoint data
- Managing a SharePoint development, QA and Staging server
- Assist with Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations planning and testing
- Building and managing DR Servers
- Guide other SharePoint Admin team members to build a unified onshore/offshore team
- Develop/Maintain IT internal control workflows and systems
- Continuously works to enhance Security/Compliance/Audit processes
- Participate in SharePoint project initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing SharePoint functionality
- Other duties as assigned by Management
