Direct Sales Supervisor

The Direct Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving the sales culture of a team of Direct Sales Representatives to exceed company sales and revenue targets. This position is accountable for optimizing sales performance by managing the implementation of measurable programs and strategies to increase revenue and unit sales.

Direct Sales Supervisor Abilities:

  • Develop and maintain a high performance Direct Sales Team, managing day-to-day performance and ensuring complete buy-in of company strategies and culture

  • Provide leadership and vision to support direct sales employees in developing and maintaining a sales culture, while sustaining excellent customer service standards

  • Maintain sales budgets by assisting with the creation and administration of motivating sales campaigns, communications, establishing goals/incentives and instructing them in company preferred sales techniques

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly analysis to measure progress and results towards achieving company sales goals

  • Monitor customer service satisfaction and implement programs to continually improve customer perception

  • Drive the direct sales team toward revenue goals through daily coaching, monitoring and feedback sessions with each agent.

  • Review weekly sales performance, managing to net incremental contributions toward each product line with each agent individually.

  • Effectively resolve complex customer complaints by building a rapport with the customer, using interpersonal, networking and creative problem-solving techniques.

  • Implement accountability plans and programs to support team members and ensure sales and revenue goals are exceeded.

  • Ensure the effective utilization of commission programs and incentives to drive sales behaviors and optimization of customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure sales team goals and objectives are aligned, with strategic priorities, and manages performance. accordingly

  • Perform other functional area duties, as required to meet business needs.



Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Direct Sales Supervisor:

  • Required - 2+ years of Sales leadership experience

  • Required - 4+ years of Sales experience

  • Required - frequent travel within the NC region

  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred - Telecommunications industry experience

  • Ability to lead and supervise others in a direct sales environment with a high sales and service focus

  • Ability to lead and motivate a high performance direct sales team, with strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Public speaking and presentation techniques/experience preferred.

  • Ability to accept and adapt to change as required to meet business needs

  • Valid NC driver's license and a good driving record

  • Able to pass drug and background screenings

The Direct Sales Supervisor is a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in Greenville, NC, but this person can be based anywhere in eastern NC as that is the territory for the role. Must be able to go to the Greenville office as needed. The base salary is expected to be $30,000 - $50,000, with at least $30,000 in commission possible. A local candidate is preferred but relocation assistance provided. No sponsorship available.
