Develop and maintain UI templates for multiple web apps, provide resolution to usability issues, and design and modify application interfaces as a front-end UI Developer in Charlotte, NC. You will be controlling a complete GUI reconstruction for internal .NET web applications and working with a progressive team in this 6-month contract to hire opportunity in the insurance industry.
To be most competitive for this role you will need heavy experience with Visual Studio, TFS, Front end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery) and C#/ASP.NET/Webforms.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain dynamic user interface templates for multiple web applications.
Partner with team members to identify usability issues and make resolution recommendations.
Work with Managers to understand business objectives and provide technical assessments, UI recommendations, risk analysis, and accurate development estimates.
Demonstrate expert level technical skills developing complex and dynamic web pages for high-volume, multi-tier architecture-based applications.
Participate in requirements gathering, definition, and design of new or changing applications.
Determine technical feasibility of approaches with Proof of Concepts to mitigate project risks.
Stay current with web standards and application architectures.
Requirements
Expert level knowledge and experience with user interface design patterns, visual design elements, and web technologies.
Experience with graphic design and user interface development for commercial software applications.
Ability to quickly produce prototypes to evaluate look, feel and flow of new applications.
Experience with Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010.
HTML / DHTML, XML / XSLT, Javascript, CSS, AJAX, JSON / JQuery.
C# / ASP.NET / WebForms.
Telerik Control toolkit experience a plus.
BA / BS required.
