Senior Java / J2EE / Hibernate / Spring Developer
Responsibilities: A major Electronic Commerce Company, located in New York City, New York, is seeking a Senior Java, J2EE, GWT, AJAX, and Hibernate Developer to write server-side code to extend the data integration architecture for our client's Web-based Messaging Server. They are looking for well-rounded Technologists with strong communication skills who know how to create robust high-volume production applications.
The selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for technical design, development, and ongoing management of the client's messaging platform. This position will interact with our client's product design and implementation teams to take feature specifications from concept through technical design and implementation. This Developer will also interact with the Quality Assurance team to help fashion quality metrics and testing approaches.

To qualify for this position, the Senior-level Developer candidate must meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major
- 2+ years of experience developing software in a formal environment
- Object-Oriented development experience
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to work in a challenging environment learning new technology skills
- Practical experience with Java Web application development (desired)
- Communication protocols and standards skills (HTTP, FTP, SSH, AS2, and EBMS)
- J2EE Application Server experience (JBoss, SAP NetWeaver, and WebLogic)
- Data format standards and design skills (XML, EDI, CSV, and fixed-width)
- International trade finance and/or supply chain business domain experience
- High-volume / high availability architecture experience
