ManTech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead multiple tasks under a military health IT Development and Support contract including website development, 3D game development, and mobile application development. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of the applications as well as the documentation required for the project.
General Responsibilities:
Provide support for technology utilization, integration and presentation
Assist with general planning and strategy for organization and technology
Lead Government personnel in conducting requirements analysis and/or system design for websites and applications (standalone, client-server, network-based, and web-enabled).
Lead team of engineers for the development and testing of websites and applications (stand-alone, client-server, network based and web-enabled)
Assist with development of test plans and testing including functional, unit, system, interface, alpha, beta, and integration tests.
Lead database design and development efforts including database requirements analysis, database design and modeling, database scripts, etc.
Assist with project documentation including system design document, requirements specification document, interface control document, database design document, user manuals, and operations and maintenance manuals
Requirements: The candidate must have, at minimum, (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline); and at least 10 years IT experience with a focus in leading software engineering, architecture, and development efforts. Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills to successfully design and test software applications. Requires attention to detail and the ability to conceptualize business or user requirements into user-friendly and efficient software applications. Prior experience in designing, developing, and testing military healthcare applications is a plus.
Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
