Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Hydraulics) ~ Houston, TX
-
Immediate opening for a Senior Engineer (Hydraulics) experienced with engineering design preferably for Drilling Control Systems or Production Control Systems. -
Engineer will have in-depth knowledge of electrical controls and applications pertaining to equipment selection and creating electrical diagrams (circuits). - Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical circuits and resolution of design issues.
- Able to coordinate multiple tasks and supervise design and drafting personnel as needed.
- Knowledge concerning skid mounted power units and control skids.
- Ability to perform any needed calculations for sizing of electrical equipment.
Qualifications: - Must be a qualified/graduate Engineer - B.S. degree with applicable job experience to qualify.
- Skill in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Skill in AutoCad as appropriate for an engineer.
- Ability and technical knowledge to perform flow calculations as would pertain to response times and flow rates through various hydraulic circuits.
- Ability to perform finite element analysis. Skill in use of Inventor.
- Experience with engineering design for Drilling Control Systems or Production Control Systems preferred.

| Job Requirements |
The Sr. Mechanical (Hydraulics) Engineer should have experience with the following: - Subsea Equipment design
- Hydraulic System Design & Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Finite element analysis
- To be able to handle projects with less supervision.
- Familiar with ABS & DNV standards

- Engineer must have the ability to travel as needed.
