Job Classification: Contract

Aerotek is looking for a strong, motivated technician to support the Thin Films area of a client in the Hillsboro area. This individual will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of assigned equipment in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Perform troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, gas, and fluid systems as needed. Assist in continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts. Support wafer fab production by meeting and exceeding tool availability and quality objectives.

The candidate's responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Perform routine preventative maintenance.
•Perform non-routine corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on area equipment.
•Work closely with counterparts in the equipment, production, and process groups to ensure that work is scheduled and prioritized to best support production while ensuring the quality of our product.
•Provide a technical resource for tool and maintenance system improvement projects.
•Maintain certifications current for equipment, safety, and incident response.
•Track and report daily activities through verbal and written pass down.

Requirements
•2+ years maintenance experience in Thin Films semiconductor equipment.
•Strong technical capability.
•Experience on multiple chamber types on any of the following equipment:
•Applied Materials Endura platform – PVD Al, IMP-Ti, Pre Clean, CVD TiN, PVD TiN
•Applied Materials Centura platform – HDP, Poly, RTP, DxZ, DLH
•Novellus C2 Sequel – Standard, Shrink, Express
•Familiarity with SPC.
•Strong communication and team work skills.
•Ability and desire to learn and support additional toolsets.
•Ability to work any shift-compressed work-week schedule.
•Ability to obtain respirator certification for use in the facility.
•2 year degree or equivalent military or technical training required.
