Superior Technical Resources is currently seeking an SAP Security Specialist to work on contract for our client located in Irving, TX. Summary job Description:The SAP Security Specialist will support the SAP security architecture and role design utilizing best practices, in support of the TXU Energy transformation initiatives. The SAP Security Specialist will provide appropriate administration activities, and timely implementation by developing, testing, implementing role governance, validating segregation of duties (SOD), and within the SAP ECC/ISU, CRM, BI and XI modules in support of all releases and baseline activities. Responsibilities and Duties:• Partner with business process owners to understand requirements, scope, estimate, and manage security processes and procedures in projects ranging in size and complexity. • Execute role changes according to TXU role methodology, document efforts according to business requirements, and follow PMO lifecycle methodology and any change management procedures.• Deep knowledge in SAP systems such as ECC/ISU, BI, CRM, XI, Portal, Solution Manager, etc.• Maintain security roles across all SAP landscapes to ensure appropriate safeguards, Segregation of Duties, are in place and achieve target SLAs, audit compliance, and management defined performance metrics. • Partner with IT teams (Basis, project management, etc.), risk & controls and business process teams and Segregation of Duties using the BizRights Approva One governance, risk and compliance tool (GRC), related policies, procedures, work flows, and controls based upon best practices and experience. Relationships• Produce gap analysis to identify alternate solutions specific to SAP security requirements and provide technical recommendations on design or architecture improvements• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with various IT and business teams, SAP IT support teams, etc• Possess the relationship skills, cultural awareness, and organizational prowess required to work effectively in a large, highly-matrixed organization. Capable of delivering results through a position of influence, not authority. Communication• Adept at communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences with varying skills sets.• Communication skills are critical. Must be able to communicate with the technology providers as well as with business leaders. Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in ERP application security administration and implementation for SAP; specifically SAP ECC v6.x, BI, CRM v5.0 and 7.0 and XI, Portal and Solution Manager.Minimum of 3 years Administration and technical expertise with BizRights Approva One, MS Access, Excel, and other analytic tools. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Support and administration in a production support role in a medium to large business.Experience implementing and supporting audit controls and monitoring solution (e.g. Approva One).Advanced technical capabilities in a wide array of platforms and systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX, SQL).Familiarity with PCI compliance, SOX, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001 and other IT and security standards .Professional certification(s) a plus (e.g CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
