Job Description

Business Analyst III (Technical Writer)
Job Information:
Plan, develop, write, and edit technical guides for use by business and technical audience(s). Document new or changed specifications and/or procedures for applications and other programming products. Interview developers, analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of finished product. Update guides and documents as technical or program requirements change. Translate technical specifications or procedures into language that can be understood by business users. Develop solutions and resolve a wide range of issues, as necessary. Work may be performed with limited direction. Typically participate in determining objectives of and approaches to assignments.

Key Job Functions:
? Confer with developers, technical leads and end users in order to produce and publish requirements and job aids documentation for complex reports on large and complex application systems.
? Research appropriate sources in order to create, update, and review process documentation for an assigned business unit or corporate office.
? May analyze IT/IS application, actual business, or operational sequence to spec out steps that can be documented.
? May collaborate work with project managers in order to produce project plans and schedules or to plan documentation of application under development.

Education
Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
Master s Degree, a plus

Minimum Experience:
4-6 years of related experience

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
? Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Project)
? Proficiency in Sharepoint is a plus
? Must possess a high degree of professionalism with strong interpersonal skills
? Must be a team player
? Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
? Must have ability to communicate at all levels throughout the organization
