Superior Technical Resources is looking for a Cost Accountant Supervisor in Linthicum, Maryland. The Cost Accountant Supervisor determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Prepares and analyzes program budgets and costs to determine resources required to implement processes and makes recommendations for budget allocations to ensure conformance to budgetary limits. Analyzes cost data trends affecting budget needs. Utilizes forecasted costs and production delivery schedules to develop revenue and profit forecasts. Reviews and approves proposal pricing to ensure accuracy and validity. Some of the primary responsibilities include:*Support the Director of Finance in collaboration with managers to provide effective, efficient cost analysis as well as information necessary for sound near term and strategic decision making*Compile cost information to be used in operating budget preparation*Collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor and prepares and distributes reports based on this data*Utilize forecasted costs and production delivery schedules to develop revenue and profit forecasts*Implement, compile and complete cash flow forecasting for major programs on a monthly basis*Oversee the maintenance of ProPricer rate tables, resources, and global libraries*Review proposal pricing to ensure mathematical accuracy and validity of bid*Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services*Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards Talent and Resources, Aligned. www.superiorjobs.com.
