Job Description:
Supported by Partner Account Managers (PAM), the Delivery has overall responsibility for delivering discrete infrastructure projects end-to-end. He/She to work closely with a number of technical groups including Systems Integration, Risk IT Architecture Leads, R&D, & Networks to review the business case & design, and propose appropriate, cost effective solutions. Leveraging Project Management tools they shall prioritize, schedule & drive activities with TIS delivery teams, specifically the RDO Provisioning team, whilst meeting with and reporting to clients and Partner Account Managers on ongoing progress, issues and delivery.
Delivery Managers support the firms Risk & Cost Control Initiatives directly by championing the delivery of innovative strategies within the IT organization (e.g. Virtualization, Data Center migrations). They will also support their IT partners through the planning of infrastructure requirements, and assist in the attainment of Project CapEx approvals.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of technical experience, preferably within the Financial Services Industry.
At least 3 years of project management experience.
Ability to undertake large/small scale project management
Enthusiastic learner and an excellent team player
Good grasp of server, storage, database, market data, and network infrastructure concepts within an enterprise environment.
Strong client relationship management skills, with focus on delivery.
Strong verbal / written communication skills & ability to interact effectively with various levels of management.
High level understanding of various disciplines within Investment Banking
Ability to plan and organize the work so that it is efficient and effective and allows service to be delivered promptly and reliably
Ability to adapt/change behavior or plans to better achieve the Client/objective
Proficiency in Microsoft toolset including MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint
