Superior Technical Resources is looking for a Quality Manager to work in Arcade, NY. Manage the daily operations of the Quality department to ensure that Company policies, operations, and procedures meet customer, Company, and industry quality requirements for the Air-cooled business. Responsibilities:*Manage the development of and the compliance of the overall quality assurance and quality control programs at the Arcade facility. Monitor quality through internal corrective action process and implementation of metrics to ensure that the products are of the highest quality and in compliance with established company policies. Identify problem areas and trends and propose solutions while working closely with Application Engineering, Design and Operations.*Supervise and manage direct reports - Quality Technician(s), Quality Inspector(s),Quality Engineer(s).*Prepare for and oversee ISO 9000, PED and customer audits, and other regulatory and/or national & international standards. Maintain and update QA Manuals. Perform the ISO required Management Review and Internal Audits. Lead division efforts in obtaining new and/or additional quality certifications as required.*Arrange and facilitate training as needed.*Provide technical support and share knowledge with other groups i.e. sales, manufacturing and engineering, and other divisions acting as mentor and teacher.*Additional responsibilities *Handle all aspects of customer returned warranty work from customer. Manage the international RGA systems and policies and corrections actions.*Facilitate manufacturing operations by developing a clear line of communication as issues arise and solutions to allow for minimal impact to production flow while ensuring quality product and delivery.*Develop quality procedures in accordance with ISO and customer requirements.*Work with outside service providers on testing and inspection.*Travel to customers (domestic and international) as required.*Prepare customer quality documentation as required such as PPAP, Control plans and FMEA’s.*Coordination and communication with our China facility, coordinating internal and customer quality corrective actions and product launch requirements.*Prepare monthly reports.  Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: *5 years of quality management experience including preparation & implementation of quality procedures, specification, test plans, and work procedures*5 years of experience with international quality standards: ISO or PED or TSPreferred Skills / Qualifications: *Knowledge of various International standards such as ISO, PED, and TS.*Strong Communication Skills Required*Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.*Knowledge of vacuum brazing, welding and heat exchanger experience desirable. Challenges:*Act as an overall quality advocate.*Determining sense of urgency with issues.*Working with 3 shifts that cover a 24 hour period.*International requirements and communication, both customer and API facilities, including travel as required. Physical Requirements:*Must be able to effectively use a computer with all its components for prolonged periods of time and for the majority of required tasks.*Must be able to effectively utilize various office equipment (phone, computer, e-mail, fax machine, printer, copier).*Must be able to review problems with equipment / processes in the shop. Travel:*Travel required both domestic and international. Travel would be to China up to 3-4 times a year.
