Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Onin Staffing is currently seeking qualified individuals for a Transformer Design Engineer.

Positions require:

*Performs design work upon receiving directions from Supervising Engineer or Project Engineer, outlining the product requirements along with customer specification.
*Prepares design layouts and sketches required to depict design details and support design analysis when required.
*Material Analysis, Static Mechanical Analysis, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis, Electric Field Analysis, Magnetic Field Analysis, Electro-Motive Force Evaluation.
*3D and FEA Simulation, Thermal Simulation
*Must be able to perform dimensional tolerance studies or descriptive 2D and 3D geometry analysis necessary to develop enginnering drawings or similar documentation.
*Performs other assignments as designated by the manager of Transformer Engineering.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include:
*BSEE or MSEE and 2-5 years relative experience
*Transformer design experience including oil immersed transformers and reactors using 2D and 3D CAD tools.
*experience with electric industrial business.
*Good verbal/ written communication skills are required.
