Outsource Telecom, a leader in the Telecommunications Staffing Industry, is looking to hire Structured Cabling Technicians for both short and long term positions throughout the Los Angeles Area. We have needs for technicians of all skills levels (Cable Pullers up to Project Managers). Experienced cable technicians will have significant exposure to the following:
•Pulling and terminating CAT5/ CAT6 in commercial environments.
•Fiber experience (Including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, Splicing).
•Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels.
•Testing cables.
•Troubleshooting networking issues.
•Familiar with BICSI, EIA, TIA and NEC Standards a plus.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
•Must own your own basic telecom tools including: Punch down tool with a 66/110 blade, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, basic hand tools, Personal Protective Equipment including: Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
•Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and reference check.
•Reliable vehicle and valid driver license. Some positions require a clean DMV record.
Nice to haves:
Telecom Certifications including: BISCI, RCDD, Panduit, Leviton, etc.
