Job Description

Our client is a major Pharmaceutical company located in Montville NJ. Their goal is to discover products that will improve human health worldwide by diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases. As a specialty pharmaceutical company, they focus their efforts where they can have the most impact: diagnostic imaging, hematology/cardiology, oncology, specialized therapeutics, and women's healthcare. Our client is currently looking for a Clinical Safety Associate for their Montville location. This is a 1 year + contract position that could be extended or even made permanent.

 

Description:

  • This person is responsible for prioritizing adverse events received in order to meet regulatory and global guidelines.
  • Creating comprehensive adverse event narratives procured from relevant information from various source documents.
  • Perform the assessment of cases regarding the seriousness, global, local and causality
  • Ensure accuracy of coding of adverse events using terminology described in global procedures.
  • Request information from the appropriate reporter pertinent for the completion of case reports within specific timeframes.
  • Assist with the interpretation of adverse events to help identify safety trends.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in a Bio medical science and 2 years experience in healthcare field OR
  • Associates degree and 2 yrs exp. Prior Drug Safety as a Clinical Safety Assistant OR
  • Associates degree and 4 years experience in healthcare field or 6 years in drug surveillance, clinical departments, or similar clinical settings
