Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Administrator

Odyssey Information Services is currently working with one of our best clients to find an experiencedSOA (Service Oriented Architect) Administrator to join their team!! 

As the SOA Administrator, you will be responsible for administering WebSphere DataPower Appliances in development and test environments as well as configuring service endpoints on the device.

List of overall skills desired to work with application teams:

• Experience administering services on WebSphere DataPower
• Experience with Web Services Proxy and Multiprotocol Gateway
• Hands on experience with Security policy within DataPower
• Mange domain developer access and security
• Knowledge of DataPower auditing and troubleshooting framework
• Familiar with DP CLI
• Assist migrating Application specific objects between environment
• Must have knowledge of SOMA interface
• Well versed in Service Oriented Technologies
• Experience with Web Services definition and development
• Working knowledge of Solaris and Linux including scripting.
  
  Highly Desired
• Experience working with UDDI Registries and Repositories in particular WSRR
• Knowledge of J2EE application platforms
• Advanced WebSphere platform knowledge
• Version control and build management experience

Responsibilities include

• Assist Infrastructure team with automated deployment strategy through CLI
• Assist in migrating Proxies and other DataPower objects between environments
• Responsible for developing and versioning of all DataPower objects

 

Requirements: (Minimum 2 years of experience with the following)

• Enterprise Service Bus Technologies (ESB)
• SOA
• Unix
• Unix Shell
• WebSphere MQ
