Job Requirements
Required Skills
* Java and J2EE Technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, etc.)
* Significant hands-on working experience with JavaScript/AJAX/HTML/CSS/DOM
* Proficiency with various XML technologies (XDS, XPath, XSLT)
* Proficiency with JUnit and other unit testing frameworks
* Working knowledge of relational databases, ANSI SQL
* Working knowledge of J2EE application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss)
* Familiarity with Web Services
* Track record of building scalable enterprise solutions
* Working knowledge of Agile SDLC (software development lifecycle; requirements)analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
* Background in object-oriented design and analysis, exposure to UML
* Thorough understanding of n-tier application architecture
* Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Experience
* 5+ years of recent, hands-on production J2EE experience building commercial web applications
* Prior healthcare experience, knowledge of HL7, clinical data and interfaces
* Prior experience with J2EE web frameworks: Struts, Spring, Tapestry
* Prior experience with web portals
* Experience with Java Swing
* BSCS, advanced degree preferred
* Certified Java developer is a plus
