Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect Services  

Leading International Manufacturer of Consumer / Medical Products in northern New Jersey seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager who will be part of an expanding department supporting Worldwide Businesses with the Strategic Sourcing for the Outsourcing of Indirect Services (A/P, HR, Mailroom, Call Center, etc). This is a newly created position. Be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing iniitatives, strategy formulations, development support, supplier relationship management, long-term procurement initiatives, and drive change on overall related sourcing activities.

Individual desired must have a BS degree and minimum 8 years purchasing experience combined with strategic sourcing experience for outsourcing of various types of Indirect Services. Must be able to understand the impact that sourcing will have on global operations and the ultimate positive bottom line impact it will have on the respective businesses. Any industry experience is fine as long as it is has been focused on the outsourcing for Indirect Categories. Must have experience with sourcing strategy development, strong contract negotiations expertise, good leadership / influencing skills and be able to see the business approach to the strategic sourcing process. Excellent interpersonal skills essential.
