Senior C#/.NET Software Engineer - IMAGING - SCIENTIFIC APP'S  

Work with the Software Engineering team to implement architectural component for a new product. The successful candidate will use extensive experience in software design to create functional instrument modules within an architectural framework and develop algorithms for results analysis. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. The candidate must possess strong C# and .net skills to be considered for this position.





Primary Duties and Responsibilities


Program modules within an architectural framework

Algorithm development for scientific applications

Interact with database to implement reporting and data management interface.

Participate in Design and Code Reviews.



Minimum Job Qualifications/Experience - Requirements


BS / MS in Computer science or related field
7+ years experience designing and developing solutions following “best practices” within a large / complex C# .NET environment.
Development of Host PC software interfacing with complex electro-optical instrumentation
3-5+ years experience with C# and .NET Framework.
3-4 years experience working with Windows Forms.
5-7+ years working in a production software environment with strong documentation skills and a proven ability to drive solutions from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
Hands on experience working with WPF.
Experience in using Version Control Systems (TFS preferred).
Experience with UML Use Cases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Job Qualifications/Experience



Experience with LINQ is preferred.
Experience with Direct3D is strongly desired.
Experience with Graphics design is preferred.
Experience with imaging and scientific applications is preferred.
