This opening is for an IT Quality Assurance Specialist, located in Cedar Rapids, IA. A successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Produce well-structured, well documented maintainable test cases and scripts Identify expected results for manual and automated testing Maintain test cases and scripts Support business requirements and design specific functionality Coordinate work with development and business teams and specify requirements Test case creation includes positive and negative scenarios, security and access testing Execute cases or scripts and document results in accordance to plans and procedures Research and retrieve data needed Create clear and complete document defect reports for anomalies recovered during testing Adhere to test methodologies Develop productivity improvements, while ensuring integrity and clarity of test results Apply effective time-management to complete tasks Perform tasks at the highest level of integrity Escalate issues to appropriate outletMake a Superior career choice today. www.superiorjobs.com. Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Appropriate Field or 6 Years Related Experience without a Degree Minimum of 2 Years Web-Based Testing Experience Minimum of 1 Year Experience with 3-Tier Web-Based Architecture Minimum of 1 Year Experience with Java, HTTP, XML, UNIX and C+ Minimum of 1 Year Experience with HP (Mercury) test tools (i.e. QTP, Quality Center, Loadrunner) Minimum of 1 Year Experience Testing Reusable Components Minimum of 1 Year Experience of Programming Languages Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Ability to Obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance is Required Problem Solving Skills Familiarity with Structured Design Methodologies Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills Presentation and Reporting Skills are Required Proven Ability to Meet Project Timelines
