Adapt machines or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Plan the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout. Plan sequences of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Inspect and test performance of machinery, equipment and tools to verify their efficiency. Address and resolve problems that affect product quality. Develop processes applicable to SPC, and may design those techniques. Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:BS in Industrial Eng., Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng. or other engineering field4 years of related Manufacturing Engineering in an electrical assembly environment2 years Product Line TransfersPreferred Skills / Qualifications:- Working knowledge of electronic manufacturing and ISO 9001- Lean Six Sigma certification- Project Management Knowledge- SAP
