This position is for an Electrical Engineer, located in Cedar Rapids, IA. A successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Perform in a team setting consisting of system, software, hardware and manufacturing engineers Communicate with and support engineer groups Design and develop EHF/SHF SATCOM products Participate in development of hardware design Create requirement definitions, designs, PC Layout, testing, integration and transition System level analyses/tradeoffs System architecture definition Electrical design FPGA and interface support circuitry design Coordination of designs via printed circuit layout Apply SATCOM system knowledgeMake a Superior career choice today. www.superiorjobs.com. Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum 2 Years of Experience with CPU and DSP Design Minimum 2 Years of Experience with Communication Interface and Tempest Design Minimum 2 Years of Experience with Information Assurance Design and Ethernet Interface Design Minimum 2 Years of Experience with Military Electronics Design TechnologiesPreferred Skills / Qualifications: Ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance Prior experience working in a team-based setting Prior knowledge and experience using DOORS Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Ability to gather accurate data and research in a timely manner
