Our client, a successful growing corporation has a contract to hire need in Annapolis, MD for a SharePoint Developer to be part of a new global initiative for 30,000 employees plus an extranet for customers, suppliers and partners. This person will be responsible for full life-cycle software development of high-quality, enterprise-scale web applications in the SharePoint .NET environment, including integrations with third-party systems. The SharePoint Developer will develop, deploy, test and support SharePoint / .NET applications. As a SharePoint Developer, you will create master pages and page layouts, custom web parts, custom lists, custom content types, etc. You will develop solutions to integrate with other business applications; write SQL queries, stored procedures and views; and create Business Process Management solutions with workflows. The SharePoint Developer must be able to collaborate with others to design and implement solutions that provide long-term scalability, reliability, and performance. In addition, your responsibilities will include meeting software compliance standards, developing and maintaining application documentation on an ongoing basis, and contributing to best practices for SharePoint development. * MUST be a US Citizen.
* 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server development. Exceptional .NET development skills. Strong SQL Server skills.
* Must be familiar with SharePoint DB architecture.
* Experience working with MOSS 2007 Share Point Designer 2007, Web Services, User Controls, XML and CAML.
* Knowledge of Infopath, Business Data Catalog, Forms Services, Excel Services and Report Center preferred.
* Superior analytics and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Bachelor's degree is required.
