Inspector Job
Energy client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a an Inspector with 5+ years of experience with gas transmission and distribution systems. You need technical skills associated with Meter and Regulator (M & R) station operations, maintenance and repair procedures, and construction techniques ( i.e material specifications, pipe fabrication, welding, purging and hydrostatic testing procedures etc.). This is a 2 month Contract Assignment in the Newark NJ area starting December 1st. Our client prefers candidates that are local to New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and inspection during the construction and installation of Natural Gas Metering and Regulating (M & R) Stations and Transmission & Distribution Pipelines
- Oversee contractor activities
- Maintain daily log of construction activities being performed
- Coordinate material deliveries, and ensuring work is being completed in accordance with safety measures, construction specifications
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with gas transmission and distribution systems
- Technical skills associated with M & R station operations, maintenance and repair procedures
- Associated construction techniques ( i.e material specifications, pipe fabrication, welding, purging and hydrostatic testing procedures etc.)
- High School Graduate
