Technician Job
Client located in the Princeton, New Jersey area has an contract, possible temp to hire opening for a Manufacturing Assembly Line employee to carry out wiring and assembly of electronic products for their product line following routine procedures and specifications. Candidates local to the area or willing to relocate on their own as there is no relocation for this position. Rates listed are an approximation so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical components to specification
- Check products electrically using standard measuring tools
- Electro-mechanical assembly of chassis and boards
- Terminate and test connections
- Evaluate products for repair and reconditioning
- Ability to assist in writing clear instructions and notes concerning the assembly of product line items
- Ability and willingness to learn and train other technicians skills involved in assemblies
Requirements
- Electrical or Electronic Technical Degree or Certificate preferred, but not required
- Two years of hands on skills (Electronics assembly experience) in related work preferred
- Must be familiar and skilled in soldering techniques
- Must be certified or willing to become certified in the J-STD-001D standard
