Description:
Hand on assembly of satellite communications panel subsystem assembly, main body, and top assembly mechanical integrationRead and interpret engineering assembly drawings, procedures, Engineering Change Orders, (ECO) & shop standards required for spacecraft integration.Comm panel integration / installation of active & passive flight components, structural sub-assemblies, RF waveguides, coax cables, DC harness & thermal blanketsMaintain all S/C integration associated shop floor paperwork.Operate cranes, forklifts, clean room tugs, etc... in the hi bays.Perform Advanced S/C tasks while working from ladders, platforms, and man-lifts up to 18 feet high & while in confined spaces such as S/C interiors, thermal vacuum, &acoustic chambers.May handle or work in vicinity of various hazardous materials.Some overtime and holiday work required.Must be able to become certified in: ESD awareness, Contamination Control, Flight Hardware Handling, DC Connector Mate/Demate, Flight adhesive bonding, thermal compound bonding, component torque.Tool room supportTake direct from Leaders and follow strict Policies and proceduresUse of computers daily for Task Database inputMake a Superior career choice today. www.superiorjobs.com.
