SAP Business Warehouse Developer


Description

• Lead definition of technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality 


• Interface with users and Business Analysts to clarify system requirements and/or necessary application enhancements. 


• Develop and maintain system and report technical design documentation.


• Use SAP Business Warehouse query tools, Business Objects tools and SAP Visual Composer tool to design, create and upgrade required reports and intranet interfaces. 


• Responsible for Extraction, Transformation and Loading of Data (ETL) of data external data to BW InfoObjects


• Responsible for creating InfoPackages to create Process chains and Scheduling of data loads. 


• Responsible for adhering to configuration control processes and procedures for creating transport sets.


• May serve as technical project lead; providing leadership, work guidance and/or on-the-job training to less experienced personnel. Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.


• May be required to provide consulting services in a technical and/or trainer capacity to management and technical staff. May represent company in presentations or conferences involving customers, and co-contractors.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred


• 4+ yrs of SAP ABAP programming in ECC 6.0 or above


• Hands on experience with MM, SD, PP, FI-CO and BPS a plus


• 4+ years experience in SAP BW/BI Solutions


• Hands on BI reporting experience with SAP Enterprise BI 7.0 or above a plus


• Experience with SAP Portal, SAP NetWeaver Java stack, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, etc.), or SAP work flow a plus


• Proven experience in all facets of the software development life cycle.


• Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members


• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients


• Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel


• Ability to work as part of team and independently


• US Citizenship required.
