Manages and supervises an inside and outside sales staff to meet monthly revenue and lineage goals including ROP, non-daily and online products. Trains and coaches staff about sales principles, techniques and advertising policies including ROP, non-daily and online. Develops, executes and monitors success of sales projects, contracts and proposals to ensure all accounts are strategically targeted and that creative sales techniques are being executed by the sales staff. Manages Classified department budget to include payroll and non-payroll items. Salary will be $57,600 - $86,400, depending upon experience.
A Bachelor's Degree and two-three years experience as a classified advertising manager; or an equivalent combination of education and sales experience. Management experience, to include employee supervision, hiring, coaching and discipline; budget management; and overall direction of a subordinate unit. This position also requires a valid drivers license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
