(No third parties, please) (No H1s, please) (Local candidates only, please) Our Client in the Northwest Valley is looking for a Level One Technical Support person with 3-4 years experience ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide first level support to resolve routine internet connectivity issues.
  • Understand and effectively communicate High Speed Internet standards and requirements.
  • Interface with outside vendors (Bestcomm, VSAT provider, multiple cabling vendors and ISPs) for assistance in resolving customer issues.
  • Support the installation process of HSIA systems . This includes assisting in the design and selection of network layouts, broadband access providers and cabling vendors.
  • Assists with the selection and ordering of additional equipment.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and vendors; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the same.
  • Document calls in the trouble tracking system in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Create and maintain department files, update and record information in hard/soft copy files, (ex: credit requests, purchase orders, property information forms, invoices and property maps).
  • Respond to other departmental and property staff requests, (ex: credit requests, compliancy issues).
  • Process department e-mail, performs faxing, photocopying and routing of non-confidential materials.
  • Prepare memos, letters and correspondence pulling material/data from a variety of sources, ensuring correct grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Setup and maintain databases and spreadsheets. Compile, process, and revise data related to property and vendor activity.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Network + and A+ certifications required or obtained within 6 months of employment.
