Under general supervision, provides support for the investor relations function to ensure that the Company's performance and key messages are communicated to the investment community in compliance with the Company's disclosure policy and Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws. Executes the Company's investor relations program through preparation of core internal and external communication materials (press releases, message platforms, Q&A's, scripts, presentations) and coordination of events (investor meetings, website, annual report). Communicates public information about the Company, to the investment community and the media. Develops corporate presentations for investor and industry conferences. Monitors activities of the Company and its peers, while striving to maintain best practices through benchmarking. Monitors analyst models and estimates. Oversees maintenance of investor database. Performs related duties as assigned.Qualifications Five (5) years experience, in addition to two (2) years direct experience in a investor relations, media relations or corporate communications role in the healthcare industry. Public company or PR agency experience highly desired. Required Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of: Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements. Company policies and procedures, including personnel and safety rules and regulations. English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Financial and accounting concepts and principles, and financial models. Computer operations and software applications. Data collection practices and procedures. Report writing and presentation. Skill in: Implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources. Reading, analyzing and interpreting technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Experience and understanding of traditional and emerging communications trends and technologies. Responding to common inquiries or complaints from media, investors, customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community. Applying financial and accounting concepts and principles. Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work. Detail-oriented; strong project management skills. Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Desire to continually learn and grow
