The Opportunity: The Principal / Lead Process Engineer will perform Process Engineering which leads to a successful operation of a plant by: Managing the full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignment plans and developing engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, which have an important effect on major company problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation, and development of novel concepts and approaches. Maintaining liaison with individuals and groups within or outside the organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters. Supervising and performing chemical engineering calculations Establishing basic plant design criteria Being responsible for quality and technical accuracy of the plant process design Preparing and managing the Process engineering schedules and budgets Assisting with Licensor negotiations, evaluations and process selection. Participating in process selection, discussions, and guarantee negotiations with client Supervising or participating in startup and plant performance test runs

Degree in chemical Engineering or degree in closely related field 10 or more years experience in process engineering work in a similar industry Ability to establish technical design basis and process scope for chemical process facilities Demonstrated technical ability in one or more Process engineering fields Ability to prepare and monitor detail schedule and budget to meet task force requirements Ability to define process requirements, evaluate and select licensed processes, and negotiate process guarantees with client or licensor. Ability to assist in the development and training of junior engineers and evaluate their performance.
