We're looking for candidates with a demonstrated working knowledge of data and databases (Oracle preferred), and the ability to query tables through PL/SQL or equivalent data mining tool. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management and teamwork skills, and have the ability to multi-task and produce results on multiple projects in accordance with best practices and standard workflows. This position requires an independent thinker who will take the initiative to seek out solutions to issues, and provide process/workflow improvement suggestions. Must be able to present material, test results, data issue examples, enhancements ideas and business requirements to various audiences as needed. As a Data Analyst you will interact with list owners, customers and internal departments (IT Development, Database Administrators and System Administrators). Fulfill requests for the Data Product Manufacturing and the Data Marketing Services Groups, in support of sector builds and data enhancements, and other DM2-Decision Maker job deliverables. Staff may also fulfill Audience Marketing requests and oversee functional support activity at our Reed Data Services location.
College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required. Working knowledge of Oracle databases. Experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures relating to data manipulation. Ability to track and understand data elements from varied sources. Experience working with processing systems such as PS/SQL query, SQL Developer, Dataflux, CCI system, AppWorx, ADW, XPL, SAS, PLIBs, RJE, UNIX, SYNCSCORT, Textpad highly desirable. Strong experience with MS Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Visio. Demonstrated positive/team player attitude with strong self-starting initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous B2B experience a plus!
