Large defense company is looking for an Assembler. Must have at least five (5) years of experience building cables and subassemblies. Extensive experience reading engineering drawings and assembly work instructions. Knowledge of proper toos and dies required for specific tasks. Experience building elecro-mechanical assemblies, installing assemblies into consoles/systems and cabling consoles/systems. Experience with MIL STD and J STD requirements for soldering electrical and electronic assemblies. Will work from drawings, diagrams and work instructions. Makes continuity checks on work and may conduct quality inspection on own worki. Will be working on repetitive and non-repetitive tasks involving production assembly operation and e/m assemblies.
