Qualified students must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or University, Undergraduate or graduate program.
We are seeking an individual with a background in writing/editing, possibly majoring in journalism, communications or English. The tasks for the internship include original writing, including feature/lifestyle stories and more investigative reporting, and also proofreading and editing. Should be highly skilled in research to help us locate sources, contacts and story ideas. Should be comfortable working with a MAC, and a fast learner. Working knowledge of digital cameras is a plus, as is familiarity with Photoshop, Indesign and/or Quark. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Flexible hours, Monday-Friday.
