Large Aerospace company is looking for a Sr. Buyer. Integrated Systems Global Supply Chain organization seeks Buyer to purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, parts, services, and supplies necessary for operation of an organization in support of ISER SOW transition to ISWR. Additional duties include: Compiling and analyzing statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Compiling information from periodicals, catalogs, and other sources to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Conferring with vendors and analyzing vendors operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviewing proposals, negotiating prices, selecting or recommending suppliers, analyzing trends, following up on orders placed, verifying delivery, approving payment, and maintaining necessary records. Must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years buying/purchasing related work experience. Working knowledge of MS Office.
