Position Requirements: A. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed as CLS in state of Montana required. Montana State license and MT(ASCP) or NCA(CLS) or equivalent certificate required. B. Special qualifications: Must possess knowledge of all areas of the laboratory to include training in Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology (to include Blood Bank and Serology), Microbiology (to include Virology, Mycology and Parasitology), Coagulation and Phlebotomy. Must have an understanding of the physical risks associated with work in with blood and body fluids and understand and use Standard Precautions as defined by the Infection Control Department. Must have skills needed in the area of communications, leadership, finance, personnel management, and applicable regulations (state and federal). Must be able to follow written and oral instructions, interpret results and make decisions in both routine and exceptional situations.
