Title: Teradata DBA/Developer/Architect Duration: 4 month Contract Location: Pittsburgh, PA Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 per annum plus all corporate benefits or upto $52 /hr depending upon the skills and experience. Job Summary This position functions as a senior team member. The incumbent is responsible for the definition, development, and implementation of new systems, and major enhancements to existing systems, as well as production support for systems with high complexity. Requires good organizational skills and good time management skills, and strong analytical and problem solving skills. The incumbent is capable of providing project leadership for major feasibility or business systems analysis studies. The incumbent is capable of directing a team, delegating assignments, providing technical guidance and applying project management expertise. The incumbent must be able to work effectively with all levels of management and staff, and with customers in defining requirements Required Skills: Position requires 6-10 years of Experience in data warehousing utilizing Teradata. Skills must include (but not limited to): Application Architecture, SQL, performance tuning, database modeling and shell scripting Preferred Skills: Looking for a Teradata developer (with DBA experience) who is supporting an existing large DHWing Strong with SQL for fine tunning and optimization can develop summary tables as required and do alot of support and modification Has architectural insight + modeling PL/SQL is a plus
