Description

Title: Help Desk Analyst Location: Gardena, CA Duration: 6+ months contract Salary range: 24/hr to 29/hr on W2 Job Description: Support Technician responsible for client-side troubleshooting and break/fix of hardware, software, printer/plotter and network issues. Support audio/video conferences and projects as assigned. Responsible for local coordination and on-going operational support of Windows XP/2K on Admin and CAD/CAE workstations & laptops Responsible for troubleshooting & fixing all client-side issues including software, hardware, network, printing/plotting & account issues Occasional support of Blackberry, cell phone and remote VPN Requires in-depth knowledge of Windows XP/2K & excellent troubleshooting skills Requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and other standard office environment applications Requires working knowledge of Active Directory, SMS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLAN Requires a professional demeanor with good written/verbal communication skills and a high level of quality & attention to detail as there is constant interaction with the user community, including executive level staff Responsible for setup/coordination of multi-point audio & video conferences Working knowledge/experience of PC imaging tools Working knowledge of SMS remote control tool Lotus Notes experience & MCSE certification a plus Ensure exceptional customer service & support with prompt problem resolution & follow-up with users Provide detailed status & problem reports regularly Maintain Professional work ethic & demeanor in all interactions Requires excellent organization & time management skills in addition to a high level of problem solving and analysis Ability to lift 50 lbs
