Position Description: Senior - Integration Developer Work Location: CA-Pleasanton-94588(Alameda) Additional Location Details: Pasadena , CA is also an option Salary Range: 80000 - 100000 / Year Estimated Duration: 8 Month The Systems Integration Center of Excellence (SIC) is responsible for managing requirements, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise application collaborations across disparate platforms. Within SIC, the Development Services group bears primary responsibility for the development and support of enterprise integration projects involving operational IT systems at client.. The Integration Developers who make up this group analyze the integration requirements, message structures, and data processing needs in order to develop the proposed integration solution. Work products include integration components, unit testing, testing support, and may include 3rd level production support for the SIC organization. JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Integration Developer is a seasoned engineer, primarily responsible for developing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues and assisting with code reviews to ensure the optimal solution has been delivered. This individual will leverage their knowledge of industry best practices and client infrastructure to continually improve internal development procedures and standards. As needed, this individual may assist other developers with development challenges and be called upon to assist with critical troubleshooting and bug resolution. When needed, the senior may provide input to solution designs and communicate technical details to business partners. Seniors apply industry best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures and system modeling in order to satisfy business and technical requirements by developing a reusable, manageable, and cost-effective integration framework. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform hands on development of integration solutions on a variety of platforms. Research and resolve technical issues and recommend appropriate interventions/modifications as needed. Ensure work processes and products meet client standards. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues. Assist development of the SIC?s reference architectures and patterns. Recommend integration best practices, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and system modeling. Additional Information: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Three (3) or more years experience with multiple programming technologies, including IBM WebSphere Message Broker (ESQL), Java, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Perl, SOAP Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions and Java Strong knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, Datapower, WebSphere Services Registry and Repository (WSRR), ITCAM for SOA, PKI, WS-Security, SAML and various web services standards are definitely a great plus; Key technology experience in areas such as J2EE, .NET, XML Web Services, SOA In depth working knowledge of AIX/Windows, including scripting and core development Knowledge of change management tools, ex. StarTeam, CVS, Remedy Experience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex. JUnit, VuGen, and Test Director Familiarity with Microsoft Biztalk and development tools are a plus; Database experience (DB2/Oracle/SQLServer) is a plus Working knowledge of HL7, EDI X12, and similar standards is a plus EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. M.S. Degree in Computer Science is a plus
