Responsibilities include understanding proper ink water balance, knowledge of web configurations, and principles of straight/collect cylinder plating. Must be familiar with color control and presetting multiple full color, registration and quality control, and capable of running multiple units. Basic press maintenance, for blankets, rollers and dampening system essential. Proficient in set up and folder operation, reel room and paster makeup, and basic press cleaning and housekeeping. Must adhere to departmental and industry recognized safety procedures and work in a professional manner without close supervision.
