Title: Unix / WebLogic SA  / Production Support

 

 

  This contractor will be a member of Enterprise Services and Infrastructure team for PDS applications. This contractors focus will be on managing PDS applications servers , Lower Environment and Production Support, Unix Support Coordination, DNSUPP Support Coordination, H/W Monitoring, Service Monitoring, and 24/7 VN Primary Support.

Provide infrastructure and production support to Fannie Mae financial reporting applications. The system includes Solaris, Linux, Oracle, Abnitio and web applications.

• Assist in the execution of PDS valuation for financial reporting.

• Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed.

Strong UNIX knowledge. Experience in Linux and Solaris.

• Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting.

• Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic.

• Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands.

• Experience in system monitoring tools.

• Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures.

• Well developed written and verbal communication skills.

• A team player. Need to work closely with other team members to provide around the clock operations support.

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or 6 years + of IT related working experience.

In-depth knowledge in Oracle database and applications.

• Experience in system monitoring tools.

• Experience in creating automation tools.

• Trouble ticket system, like Remedy

Requirements

Requirments:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

 

3-5 years of troubleshooting in a Unix environment

 

3-5 years experience in a Production Support role

 

Expertise in Scripting languages (shell, perl)

 

Experience with AutoSys is desirable.
