   About the Position:
The role of the Senior XML Developer is to process and load multiple XML schemas into an Oracle database. This includes parsing and processing distinct XML files into a common format. This position will require an understanding of mortgage related concepts such as loan servicing, default, and foreclosure.

Responsibilities:
? Develop processes to streamline the sourcing, processing and storage of data from multiple external sources.
? Analyze incoming data submissions.
? Work may involve the preparation and/or review of technical specifications.
? Support ad hoc data requests and ongoing requests for data from workstreams and business partners.
? Develop custom code to perform extraction, transformation, and load logic.
? Acquire and develop knowledge of industry practices to develop new ways to use existing data to add business value to existing processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:
? A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and business experience.
? Experience with and knowledge of data management.
? The ability to support work across multiple teams and to communicate effectively with both technology and business groups.
? A minimum of seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in systems development with a recent focus on XML development. Candidates with experience in the fields of accounting, finance, and secondary mortgage activities are preferred
? The successful candidate must have exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
? Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
