Description

AIRCRAFT Manufacturing Planner

Looking for ME Planners with 3 or more years of project
planning experience, a history of computerized process planning (using
CAPP or similar planning tool), and aircraft electrical wiring
installation ME experience (or systems installation ME experience).

 

  • Develops, implements and maintains various installation level
    manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and
    illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to
    meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
  • Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues. Performs
    producibility assessments for part or product designs. Provides
    producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing
    technologies to meet cost and schedules.
  • Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory
    agency requirements. Works under general direction.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Microsoft and other popular applications will be very
      useful.

    Note, this type of experience not needed:  printed circuit/wiring boards
    experience, or electrical equipment experience like transformers,
    antennas, satellites, power supplies.

      Obtains or provides information on important or sensitive organization matters.

       

      Typical Educ/Exper: AA degree in related discipline and 3 to 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
