Our client is an international leader within their industry and is in need of a Contract Cost Accountant. Duties will include: - Inventory management - Inventory valuation - Reduction of fully allocated product costs and the identification of scrap, variance, and obsolescence of costs. - Individual will also responsible for month end journal entries relating to cost of manufacturing, inventory and variance.

EXPERIENCE: 4 years of experience with a majority in manufacturing cost accounting. Knowledge of manufacturing variance analysis is preferred. SKILLS: Must have a working knowledge cost controls, a strong accounting and or finance background. Must possess strong leadership and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of quantitative analysis and problem solving skills is required. COMPUTER: Word, Excel required, Access preferred, JD Edwards is required EDUCATION: Degree is preferred.
