The Configuration Analyst participates in the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, and accounting for data, systems and/or equipment in accordance with contractual requirements. Follows procedures for and implementation of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies. RESPONSIBILITIES: Auditing of engineering records sent from Vought's customer and to Vought suppliers, distribution of engineering data. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with applicable Vought technical organizations for processing and incorporation of engineering change. Provide status of change at Vought status meetings. Must have good data entry and retrival skills and be an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel (An excel test will be given to determine applicants knowledge & skill) Applicant must be able to lift 10 pounds above their head and climb a stepladder. This is a Contract position.
