                                                        Office Administrator

Our client is seeking a seasoned Office Administrator to join their Palo Alto office. The qualified candidate has experience in staffing, development and management of non-attorney staff.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Directing the day to day operations of the office  

 

-Management of all staff

 

-Recruiting, selecting, training, development, performance evaluation, salary administration, employee relations and resource allocation for all staff

 

-Space planning and design

 

-Purchasing and inventory control, records storage, offices services and other facilities management functions

 

-Coordination of, and negotiation with vendors

 

-Planning, forecasting and budgeting for office expenditures and capital improvements

 

-Strategic and tactical planning, risk management, quality control, organizational development, firm planning processes and other general management functions

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements


    

-A minimum of 5+ years of experience managing people, preferably in a legal or professional services organization

-Experience managing business operations such as human resources, technology, facilities, finance and marketing

-College degree preferred; commensurate amount of experience considered

-Experience with supervising, coaching and developing staff

-Ability to identify and analyze complex issues and problems in management areas, and recommend and implement solutions

-Ability to manage office functions economically and efficiently

-Excellent communication skills

-Excellent analytical and judgment skills and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

-Ability to interact professionally with all levels

-Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and professional environment

-Thorough working knowledge of software applications, equipment, electronic calendaring and etc.
