Software Engineer Consultant
Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be a senior AEM software engineer who can lead the migration of AEM to the cloud, collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions, and mentor junior engineers.
Rate Range: $74/hour to $76/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Software Engineer Consultant job responsibilities include:
Leading the development and implementation of software solutions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable systems
Conducting code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality code
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across various platforms
Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and support
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with Java, Spring boot, and micro-service architecture.
Experience with developing cloud-native applications running on Google Cloud Platform or other cloud hosting environments.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Details: $74.00 to $76.00 per hour
