Sr Engineering Manager - Liaison Manager with Security Clearance
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering role, with a focus on aircraft systems, testing, and design coordination. * Proven experience working in a liaison role or similar, coordinating between multiple departments or teams to include troubleshooting, dispositioning tags, and non-compliances * Strong understanding of aircraft systems, testing procedures, and design principles. * The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Preferred: * Typically 6-8 years of relevant leadership and/or technical management experience * Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline * Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customers * Experience with test equipment and instrumentation used in aircraft testing. * Familiarization with FAA certification (conformity, compliance documentation, etc) * Familiarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule management * Past history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternative * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedure * Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
